Carol Moses was a local resident who taught quilting classes for the Elk Grove Park District. Her interest in quilting started in the mid 1970s. She was best known for the quilts she sewed for the Elk Grove Historical Society's annual Pioneer Days event in September. She often sewed historical, local scenes as a way of preserving history.
