Celluloid photograph album with built in music box. Brass clasp and brass ornament on corners of cover, gilded edges on photo pages. Depicts Victorian image of two children, one playing the mandolin. Music box apparatus placed in back of album behind photograph pages. Wound from backside of album. Dates to the late 1800 - early 1900s.

Originally belonged to Albert Scharringhausen. Albert was born in in 1881 and was the son of Fred Scharringhausen and Mary Pingel. Albert married Amanda Everding.
Came from the household of Lorraine Scharringhausen Marquardt. Originally the album included images of Albert and Amanda Scharringhausen and their children along with many unidentified images. These images were removed from album prior to donation and kept by family.
